Dear Solomon started in 1979 in Orlando, Florida when several high school students on the school newspaper staff thought it would be interesting to have an advice column included in each edition. They welcomed letters from students who shared their trials and their victories while struggling with life's ups and downs. Throughout the years, Dear Solomon has had its own ups and downs, has been in and out of print several times and has finally found its home here at DearSolomon.com. All your letters, questions, insights and comments are welcome. Each letter will be answered personally and some will be included in our blog, on this website or in our book which will be released in 2008. Names and sometimes locations will be changed in every circumstance to protect the privacy of our readers.
