Letter Guidelines

Please read this entire page before sending in your letter.

All your letters, questions, insights and comments are welcome. No topic is off limits, but keep in mind that some letters will be edited for language or length in order to be displayed. Each letter will be answered personally and some will be included in our blog, on this website, or in our book which will be released in 2008. Names and sometimes locations will be changed in every circumstance to protect the privacy of our readers. We will never sell, rent or otherwise disclose any contact information to any other source except under the direction of the law.

Feel free to express yourself however you want to. Send pictures, artwork, poetry, or any other form of expression along with your letter if it helps to give a full picture of your feelings. Do not send the original pictures or artwork, but send a copy, as these may occasionally be damaged in the mail.

Letters can be sent via email or by post. If you wish to receive a personal reply, please include a self-addressed, stamped envelope. Keep in mind that the address you put on the envelope is where the reply will be sent. If your letter is sent by email, Dear Solomon will reply to the originating email address. If you send your letter by email and do not wish to receive a private reply, make sure to state that in your letter.

All submissions become the property of Dear Solomon and cannot be reproduced in part or in whole by any other entity without permission.
